In picking up something new, we always have a reason why. For me it was because I liked music of course. Rock and Metal music was what drove me to get a guitar of my own.

I was always exposed to Rock and Metal music from the 80’s as kid because of my dad. But as I grew older my incredibly religious mom didn’t want me to listen to that kind of music because it was “evil”.

It wasn’t until 9th Grade when I stumbled upon and anime called “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures”, and I loved it. I decided to read the manga and saw that the character names were different from the anime. So I decided to look into it. Apparently the names were copyrighted, by who you may ask? But it’s none other than famous rock bands like AC/DC, King Crimson, Metallica, etc. Upon discovering this I realized that the author must’ve like Rock music so much that he decided to reference them in his creations.
